Excellent product, purchased new in 2010, still going strong 2023.
Impressive unit. I bought this because I needed a smaller Engel and liked the more basic exterior so I didn’t need to fuss if it got a scratch. I always feel fridges with high end finishes are something I need to baby. Filled her up with 7kgs of gel packs. 2,kgs of meat and a litre of milk. Set it to 3 (-5c?,) And went to bed. Everything frozen by morning. I intend to use this as a chest freezer so this is great. Switched it off completely for 5hrs today just to see how well it holds temp unpowered. Still fridge temp (4c or less) and nothing thawed. Plugged back in and it only took an hour to get back to setting temp before the compressor started cycling again.
